I'm Emily, the founder of Blossom Speech Therapy and a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children find their voice. I'm dedicated to providing personalized, play-based therapy that helps children and families thrive.
As an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist, I provide evidence-based, family-centered care that's tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in communication from UC Santa Barbara and completed my Master of Science in speech-language pathology at Boston University. My clinical experience includes working in schools, private clinics, home-based therapy, hospitals and outpatient rehabilitation clinics. I have extensive experience providing speech therapy for early intervention, preschoolers and school-aged children.
I am Hanen certified in the Early Language Program It Takes Two to Talk and trained in Natural Language Acquisition framework to provide therapy for gestalt language processors (children who communicate with scripts).
My therapy sessions are engaging, play-based, and purposeful, creating a welcoming environment where children feel motivated, and excited to learn.
