2. Who can benefit from speech therapy?
Speech therapy is for all ages—toddlers, school-aged children, and teens. Anyone who has difficulty communicating, understanding language, or being understood.
3. Do I need a referral?
No, Blossom Speech Therapy does not require a doctor's referral to get started. If you plan to get reimbursed via Superbill from your insurance, please check to see if a referral is required.

4. How long are therapy sessions?
Most sessions last 30–60 minutes, depending on age, needs, and treatment plan.
5.How often will therapy be needed?
Frequency varies by individual goals. Some clients attend once a week, others more or less often. Progress is reviewed regularly and plans are adjusted as needed.
6. How long does speech therapy take?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients make quick progress in a few months, while others benefit from longer-term support. We focus on steady, meaningful improvement—not rushing the process.
7. Do you accept Insurance?
Blossom Speech Therapy is private pay and considered an out-of-network provider. We do not accept insurance plans. However, we can provide an out-of-network reimbursement via Superbill. Please contact us for support on contacting your insurance company to learn about your speech therapy benefits and reimbursement.
8. Why private pay?
With private pay, we’re able to fully customize your child’s treatment plan. There are no restrictions on how often or how long sessions occur, which goals we work on, or the therapy methods we use.

9. Are you a provider for the Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB)?​
Yes, Blossom Speech Therapy is a provider for the RCEB providing Early Start services throughout the community.
